Solar, batteries and EV chargers for Kellyville Ridge, Rouse Hill, Kellyville, North Kellyville and Beaumont Hills — the whole 2155 postcode. Collect three quotes here and all three will say “Tier 1”. It is a real thing and it is worth something, but it is not what the word is being used to suggest, and once you know what it actually measures you can compare equipment on numbers instead of adjectives.
These are estimates, not fixed prices. Each one assumes a straightforward installation and already has the federal STC discount for postcode 2155 taken off. What your home actually costs depends on your roof, switchboard and connection — we confirm it in writing after a free assessment.

Anything that applies to your home is itemised in your written quote before you commit to it.
Estimates only, including GST, checked October 2026. STC figures use postcode 2155, 2026 deeming and an assumed $38 per certificate — the discount you receive depends on the certificate market on your installation date. Savings are modelled on typical usage and tariffs and are not a guarantee.
This is the single most repeated phrase in solar sales and one of the least understood. It is not a lie and it is not meaningless — it is simply a measure of something other than what buyers think it measures. Here is what it is, and what to look at instead.
BloombergNEF lists a manufacturer as Tier 1 when its modules have been used in at least six separate projects financed by six different non-recourse banks in the previous two years. It is a statement about which companies banks will lend against. BloombergNEF says explicitly that the list should not be used as a measure of quality, and that it is a snapshot for one quarter rather than a product endorsement.
A manufacturer substantial enough to appear on that list is more likely to still exist when you make a warranty claim in twelve years, and a performance warranty is only ever worth as much as the company behind it. Take it as a comment on the company's longevity, not on the panel's output.
Efficiency, for how much power you get per square metre of roof. Degradation rate and the year-25 output guarantee, for what is promised to remain after twenty-five years. The temperature coefficient, for what a dark roof in February costs you. And the product warranty term, which is a different promise from the performance warranty. All four are on a public datasheet, and all four are checkable.
“Premium European”, “German engineered” and “Tier 1” cannot be verified and do not appear on any datasheet. A make and model number can be, and does. Many good panels are designed in one country and manufactured in another, which is ordinary and not a scandal, but it does mean the adjectives carry no information at all. One more thing worth knowing while you compare: the inverter deserves more of your attention than the panels do. Panels degrade slowly by design and usually outlive their warranties, while inverters stop outright and are the reason most dark systems are dark — and the inverter is also what decides whether you can add a battery later without replacing hardware. We put the term Tier 1 on our own package pages, so apply all of this to our quote as readily as to anyone else's.
Network rules change and every connection is approved on its own merits — we confirm the limit that applies to your address in writing before install day.
Comparing equipment only gets you so far, because two of the three warranties attached to a system are promises from the manufacturer and the third is a promise from whoever installs it. They expire at different times, cover different things, and a quote showing a single headline number hides two of them. Our St Clair page separates product, performance and workmanship properly.
What the three warranties actually coverHome batteries attract two separate incentives. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program takes an estimated $3,402 off a 13.5 kWh battery, and NSW’s NSW VPP connection incentive (battery via federal program) can add more on top. Already have solar? We check your inverter first — some systems take a battery as they are, others need a hybrid inverter.
Estimated federal rebate on 13.5 kWh of usable storage
NSW virtual power plant (VPP) incentive when you connect an eligible battery to a VPP, on top of the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount. The NSW upfront battery discount ended for installs from 1 July 2025.
Size your solar for it now. Our 10kW package comes pre-wired for a battery and an EV charger, so adding one later is a small job rather than a rebuild.
We review your roof, shading, switchboard and a recent bill. Someone comes and looks at the house — a panel specification is only meaningful once the roof it is going on is known.
A quote naming the panel and inverter make, model and count, so the four numbers on this page can be looked up and compared against anyone else's.
We lodge your grid-connection application and confirm any export limit before install day.
Accredited electricians install, test and commission the system, then clean up. You are told who is coming.
Your retailer updates the meter, we set up monitoring, and you get the compliance paperwork naming what was actually installed — which is the document that matters if a warranty claim ever comes up.
