Solar, batteries and EV chargers across Figtree 2525, from the streets by the highway to Figtree Heights. Homes on a hillside rarely have one big north-facing roof, so this page is about splitting an array across several faces, and how to tell whether a quote has done it properly.
These are estimates, not fixed prices. Each one assumes a straightforward installation and already has the federal STC discount for postcode 2525 taken off. What your home actually costs depends on your roof, switchboard and connection — we confirm it in writing after a free assessment.

Anything that applies to your home is itemised in your written quote before you commit to it.
Estimates only, including GST, checked October 2026. STC figures use postcode 2525, 2026 deeming and an assumed $38 per certificate — the discount you receive depends on the certificate market on your installation date. Savings are modelled on typical usage and tariffs and are not a guarantee.
A hip roof on a sloping block gives you two or three usable faces rather than one. That is fine for solar. It just needs a layout and an inverter chosen for it, and it is where two quotes for the same system size often stop being the same.
Panels facing different ways see different sun. Each face needs its own inverter input, or the weakest face sets the pace for all of them.
Less output at noon than north-facing panels, but an earlier start and a later finish. More of it lands when the house is using power.
A tree or a neighbour's second storey shading part of the array is the case for optimisers or microinverters. On a clear roof they are rarely worth it.
Two quotes can both say 6.6kW and describe very different systems. Ask each installer for the number of panels on each face, which inverter tracker each face connects to, and the inverter's model. If a quote cannot answer those, ask whether anyone measured the roof.
Network rules change and every connection is approved on its own merits — we confirm the limit that applies to your address in writing before install day.
Home batteries attract two separate incentives. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program takes an estimated $3,402 off a 13.5 kWh battery, and NSW’s NSW VPP connection incentive (battery via federal program) can add more on top. Already have solar? We check your inverter first — some systems take a battery as they are, others need a hybrid inverter.
Estimated federal rebate on 13.5 kWh of usable storage
NSW virtual power plant (VPP) incentive when you connect an eligible battery to a VPP, on top of the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount. The NSW upfront battery discount ended for installs from 1 July 2025.
Size your solar for it now. Our 10kW package comes pre-wired for a battery and an EV charger, so adding one later is a small job rather than a rebuild.
We measure each roof face, note which way it points and what shades it, and look at the switchboard and a recent bill. On a split roof the layout is decided here, not on the day.
A quote showing how many panels go on each face, which inverter input each face connects to, and the panel and inverter models. Every extra is itemised.
We lodge your grid-connection application and confirm any export limit before install day.
CEC-accredited electricians install, test and commission the system, checking each string separately, then clean up.
Your retailer updates the meter and we set up monitoring. On a split array you can see each face's output, so a problem on one is easy to spot.
Every install below is a real Kratos job, with the suburb and month it was completed. As we finish work around Figtree, those projects will appear here too.

Smarter Home Energy with Solar & Battery Storage Kratos Energy has successfully completed another residential solar and battery installation in Endeavour Hills, Victoria, combining a 10.45 kW Jinko solar system with 32 kWh of GoodWe battery storage. Designed to help the household generate more of its own electricity, store excess solar energy and reduce dependence on the grid, this system provides a strong foundation for smarter and more flexible home energy management. Project Overview Location: Endeavour Hills, Victoria Solar System Size: 10.45 kW Solar Panels: Jinko Solar Battery Storage: 32 kWh Battery Brand: GoodWe Project Type: Residential Solar + Battery Installation Status: Completed The Solution The property was equipped with a high-capacity rooftop solar system using Jinko solar panels, strategically installed to make effective use of the available roof space. The 10.45 kW solar array works alongside a substantial 32 kWh GoodWe battery system, allowing solar energy generated during the day to be stored for use when required. Rather than relying solely on electricity from the grid after sunset, the household can make greater use of energy generated from its own rooftop solar system. Why Solar + Battery? Combining solar generation with battery storage gives homeowners greater control over how and when they use electricity. This installation is designed to help the household: Increase the use of self-generated solar energy Store excess daytime solar production for later use Reduce reliance on grid electricity Make better use of solar energy during evenings and high-demand periods Gain greater control over household energy consumption Build a more energy-resilient home Reduce exposure to rising electricity costs over the long term Built for Long-Term Energy Independence With 10.45 kW of solar generation capacity and 32 kWh of battery storage, this Endeavour Hills installation represents a significant step towards greater household energy independence. The combination of Jinko solar technology and GoodWe energy storage provides the homeowner with a modern energy solution designed around both current electricity requirements and future energy needs. From system planning through to installation, the Kratos Energy team focused on delivering a clean, practical and professionally installed solution suited to the property.
