Solar, batteries and EV chargers for Corrimal, East Corrimal, Tarrawanna, Towradgi and Bellambi, the whole 2518 postcode. Many homes here were wired long before rooftop solar existed, so the switchboard is often the part of the job that decides the price.
These are estimates, not fixed prices. Each one assumes a straightforward installation and already has the federal STC discount for postcode 2518 taken off. What your home actually costs depends on your roof, switchboard and connection — we confirm it in writing after a free assessment.

Anything that applies to your home is itemised in your written quote before you commit to it.
Estimates only, including GST, checked October 2026. STC figures use postcode 2518, 2026 deeming and an assumed $38 per certificate — the discount you receive depends on the certificate market on your installation date. Savings are modelled on typical usage and tariffs and are not a guarantee.
Corrimal grew around a colliery that opened in 1883, and plenty of homes across 2518 were wired for a very different electrical load. None of this stops you getting solar. It is why two quotes for the same size system can differ, and why the cheaper one is not always cheaper.
Ceramic fuses and no RCDs mean new circuits cannot simply be added. The board is brought up to the current rules first. It is a safety requirement, not an upsell.
Some older boards have a backing panel containing asbestos. It is not drilled or cut; if it has to change, it is replaced under the asbestos safety rules.
Older tiles can be brittle and older iron can be thin. We look at the roof before quoting so broken tiles and extra fixings are priced, not discovered.
If a quote does not mention the switchboard on an older home, ask why. Either the installer has looked and it is fine, or nobody has looked. A quote that names the work, the reason and the price separately lets you compare installers properly and tells you the assessment was done.
Network rules change and every connection is approved on its own merits — we confirm the limit that applies to your address in writing before install day.
Home batteries attract two separate incentives. The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program takes an estimated $3,402 off a 13.5 kWh battery, and NSW’s NSW VPP connection incentive (battery via federal program) can add more on top. Already have solar? We check your inverter first — some systems take a battery as they are, others need a hybrid inverter.
Estimated federal rebate on 13.5 kWh of usable storage
NSW virtual power plant (VPP) incentive when you connect an eligible battery to a VPP, on top of the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount. The NSW upfront battery discount ended for installs from 1 July 2025.
Size your solar for it now. Our 10kW package comes pre-wired for a battery and an EV charger, so adding one later is a small job rather than a rebuild.
We look at the roof, shading and a recent bill, and on an older Corrimal home we look hardest at the switchboard and the meter board. Ceramic fuses and no safety switch mean an upgrade before anything goes on the roof.
A quote with the panel layout, the inverter and every extra itemised. If the switchboard needs work, it is a separate line with the reason, not folded into the system price.
We lodge your grid-connection application and confirm any export limit before install day.
CEC-accredited electricians do any switchboard work first, then install, test and commission the system, and clean up.
Your retailer updates the meter and we set up monitoring so you can see every kWh.
Every install below is a real Kratos job, with the suburb and month it was completed. As we finish work around Corrimal, those projects will appear here too.
